Social Media Coordinator (VIC)


Do you have to constantly delete photos off your phone so you can take more? Do you have a good eye for thumb stopping content?

Loving Earth is a socially conscious company who is obsessed with all things chocolate and we have an exciting career opportunity in social media marketing and community management. This kind of role doesn't come around often and we are excited to find the next member of our diverse and fast-moving team!


We’re looking for a self-starting, multi-skilled creative with a passion for the bigger picture, an eye for detail and a fascination with results.


  • You will understand, develop, create and execute savvy and coherent strategies across the brands social media channels.
  • You will be responsible for generating, managing, moderating and reporting on visual and written content that you have produced and/or curated across LE’s social communities.
  • You will act as the community liaison, participating in online-conversation through the brand’s defined voice by answering community questions, offering solutions, and mediating conversations on various social networking sites.
  • You will own monitoring and reporting of LE’s metrics and analytics, competitive trends, roll out of campaign initiatives, and community optimization and understand that the key to the success of future projects will be from gaining insights and implementing changes.
  • Using your keen strategic skills, you will help shape the brands evolution in the ever-changing world of social media and counsel the team in how best to engage and delight our community.
  • This role is integral in protecting the visual appearance of all LE’s digital footprint so skills in Photoshop is a must and In-design and Illustrator will be looked upon favorably.


We are looking for smart, passionate, and ambitious people. You should have expertise in the following:


  • 2+ years of working in social media marketing
  • Proven management of social media channels and ability to navigate the intricacies of Facebook and Instagram, along with monitoring and analytical tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc.)
  • Understanding of demographics and intermediate marketing principles
  • Computer literacy and spelling
  • Strong communication and visual skills
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-moving communications team
  • A keen self-starter who gets things done
  • Be able to give and receive 360 feedback
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Basic photography skills
  • You love good tunes and a bit of banter (this is kind of a pre-requisite…)


Desirable skills

  • Adobe Illustrator & InDesign 

Most importantly, you must be fascinated with the inner and outer workings of the continuously changing landscape of social media.


What type of work will you be doing:


  • Social media strategy for LE
  • Understand, develop, create and execute content strategies to support social media; creating visual and written content
  • Brainstorming as part of the communications team to conceptualise product launch strategy to help achieve business objectives
  • Recruiting and liaising with social collaborators to generate content for our website and social platforms
  • Basic website updates of your created content
  • Designing and testing advertisements
  • Thinking outside the box with marketing strategies
  • Finding new ways to innovate in and outside our team
  • Participating in ad hoc marketing and communications projects for other teams and stakeholders.

  • Salary: $50-54k + Super
  • Located at our office in Scoresby (VIC)
  • Ideally starting immediately
